Uber/Lyft: Plot twist, they aren’t available on the island.
Taxis: Readily available especially at the airport—look for official licensed taxis with dome lights and rate cards.
Taxi Rates: ~$20–$30 per person depending on destination (they charge per person, not per ride). Bring cash!
Rental Cars: Readily available and cost around ~$70–$100/day for a midsize SUV or Jeep. If you want to rent a car, send me a note and I’ll help coordinate the best rate.
Note: In St. Thomas, you drive on the left side of the road, but the cars are still U.S.-style with the steering wheel on the left. It’s giving British-American fusion—and yes, you’ll get used to it quickly.
Group Logistics: There will be at least 1 car at the villa and group transportation will be arranged for all outings.
